In 1882 Madeline Vinton Dahlgren published South Mountain Magic. It is a book full of the legends and tales of South Mountain, and it is considered one of the only surviving testaments to a forgotten time when dark shadows haunted the forests and hills of America. Today I dive into Chapter 2 and take a look at her Beloved South Mountain House, and the strange stories surrounding the homestead.
